Mauritius is unfortunately in a state of national confinement since 6h00 on 20 March 2020 and will be in a state of national curfew as from 20h00 on Monday 23 March 2020, as announced by the Prime Minister on 22nd March 2020 in view of the Covid-19 virus situation. Only essential services are currently being allowed to operate.

In these tough times, our primary concern remains the safety and well-being of our employees and their families, our customers, our partners and our society.

As a result, all our teams have moved to a ‘Work from Home’ mode and our Branch office situated at 6, Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis as well as our Head Office, situated at Corner Leoville L'homme & Sir William Newton Streets, Port Louis shall remain closed.

During these difficult times, we shall unfortunately not be in a position to offer our full range of services. There will be delays in the processing and payment of claims and other benefits and we sincerely apologise for this unprecedented situation.

We shall however strive our best to ensure that payment of pensions be made in a timely manner and also make sure that our customers are not penalised for delays in effecting cash payment of their premium due to closure of our offices.

You may still contact us by email on customer.service@ila.mu or call us on 5448-5892 between 10h00 to 15h00 on normal working days. We shall try to attend to your queries as soon as we can and within the parameters of the Curfew.
